RESERVATION INFORMATION:
To make reservations please call: 252-441-7331 anytime, or e-mail. Availability may be checked by clicking here. Check in is 4:00 PM and check out is 10:00 AM. Please check in at the Days Inn Oceanfront Wright Brothers (201 North Virginia Dare Trail; Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948) next door. We are sorry we cannot offer early check ins or late check outs.
POLICIES: All guests must be 21 or older to register and occupy a cottage (unless you are a family unit).
A limited number of parking spaces are available, and each cottage has assigned spaces. When making your reservation, you will be given the number of spaces your cottage is allowed. Upon check in you will be given this many parking passes; vehicles not displaying parking passes will be towed at the Owner’s expense.
All guests are responsible for taking out all trash and washing all dishes prior to check out. A $150.00 housekeeping fee will be charged if your cottage is not left in good order upon departure.
The maximum occupancy is notated next to each cottage in the Photo Tour; this includes all adults & children. Additional persons found in the cottage exceeding this number will be asked to leave, and you may be asked to vacate your cottage forfeiting all deposits/payments.
Pre-Reservations: All returning Wright Court and Wright House guests have the option to re-rent for the same week and cottage for the following year. When making a reservation for the following year, a $50.00 pre-reservation fee is required for each cottage reserved prior to check out. Once you have confirmed your reservation with the first deposit due, this non-refundable fee will be credited towards your final deposit due. If you decide to cancel your pre-reservation, the Owners of the Wright Court & House will maintain this fee. This non-refundable fee is non-transferable, and cannot be moved from one cottage to another if multiple cottages are held and one is cancelled. If your pre-reservation fee is not paid prior to check out, your cottage and week will be open immediately for booking after check out.
WEEKLY & NIGHTLY DEPOSIT INFO FOR 2 To 6 BEDROOM COTTAGES:
Within 7 days of making your reservation, ½ of the total amount is due. The remaining half is due 45 days prior to the date of arrival. Deposits for these cottages may be paid by: credit card, money order, or personal check. For reservations made within 45 days of arrival, the total amount due must be paid immediately by credit card or by overnight Cashier’s Check. For reservations within 45 days of arrival, we cannot accept personal checks.
DEPOSIT INFO FOR THE WRIGHT HOUSE:
Wright House rentals require a security deposit of $500.00 which is to be paid with your initial deposit. After check out, an inspection of the property will occur, and any necessary deductions will be noted (property damage deductions, housekeeping deductions, etc.). You will be notified of any deductions, and your security deposit (with any necesary deductions taken out) will be refunded to you 45 days after departure. Please note there is a $25.00 charge for all returned checks.
An advance deposit of half of the week's rent, plus the $500.00 security deposit, and a non-refundable administration fee of $50.00 + tax is due within 7 days of making your reservation (by money order or personal check, or certified check). Sorry credit cards are not acccepted and personal checks cannot be accepted within 30 days of arrival. The remaining half of the rate, plus tax, and other fees, if applicable, will be due 45 days prior to the date of arrival. For reservations arriving within 45 days of arrival or holiday reservations, guests must pay the total amount due immediately.
WEEKLY & NIGHTLY CANCELLATION INFO FOR 2 To 6 BEDROOM COTTAGES:
There will be no refund for any cancellation within 14 days of arrival. A cancellation fee equal to 25% of the total amount due will be charged for any cancellation occurring prior to 14 days of the arrival date
WEEKLY CANCELLATION OF THE WRIGHT HOUSE:
Once reservations have been confirmed by payment, and you are unable to fulfill your obligation to occupy the rental unit, we must be notified in writing. All attempts will be made to re-rent the property but if we are unable to re-rent the unit, no money will be refunded. If the property is re-rented, the rent consideration (rent, taxes, security deposit) previously tendered by Tenant will be refunded, less a service fee equal to 10% of the total contract amount or $75.00, whicherver is greater.
Should you need to change the week of your reservation after you have made your initial payment, there is a $75.00 transfer fee that must accompany your written request. Please remember, this transfer must be in the same year. All transfers must be made at lease 30 days prior to occupancy in order to allow sufficient time to re-rent the original rental period.
