Our Outer Banks cottages and apartments make it easy for several families to vacation together, yet still have their own private space to linger in during each family’s own “together time.” Though we are happy to be more of a family-oriented environment (we host several family reunions a year), we are also happy to accommodate couples, church groups, and other groups on their Outer Banks vacation. We are centrally located to all Outer Banks attractions such as: Wright Brothers Memorial, NC Aquarium, Elizabeth II, Jockey’s Ridge, the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, our world famous lighthouses, and many more. No matter the time of year, there’s plenty of fun to be found on the Outer Banks. And of course, there’s plenty of restaurants serving the great coastal cuisine the Outer Banks is famous for. Grocery stores and shopping are a nearby plus also!

We have weekly reservations available year-round, and nightly reservations available prior to June and starting the last full week of August through December. We have ten 2-bedroom apartments, and two 3-bedroom cottages…in the pre- and off-season we also offer 1-bedroom apartments. All apartments/cottages have: cable TV with VCRs, heat/air-conditioning, telephones, full kitchens, and private screened-porches. Our screened-in porches are one of our most enjoyed features for our many returning guests! They’re perfect for kicking back in the summer evenings, and enjoying the cool Atlantic breezes tickling your toes. Or in the fall/winter, after a day of fishing or shell gathering, it’s great to relax with a cup of tea or coffee and revel in a great Outer Banks sunset.

All of our kitchens contain: stove/oven, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, toaster, cookware, dinnerware, and silverware. We have everything you need to cook up your own Outer Banks fun. Lots of guests love to cook out in the bbq pit, and then congregate for one large potluck dinner on the several picnic tables we have scattered near the bbq area.

We have a direct beach access, an outdoor pool, and bbq pit. A guest laundromat is also available for a nominal fee. Cribs may be available free of charge upon request. Sorry, no pets permitted at the Saltaire. All of our units are non-smoking, but guests may smoke outdoors and on the screened-in porches.
