First lit on December 1, 1875, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse illuminated one of the last remaining dark stretches of southern coastline between the Cape Henry, Virginia and Bodie Island Lights. You can find Currituck Beach Lighthouse outside of Corolla.
The tower is open every day from Easter through Thanksgiving from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm (5:00 pm after daylight savings time ends). It is closed during storms and high winds.
