Pastels, Colored Pencil and Pen/Ink by Hatteras Island artist Stephanie Kiker.
Gicleé (pronounced zhee-clay) is a French term which means “spraying of ink” and is a form of fine art reproduction where art meets technology.
Using a high resolution scan of the original art, a Gicleé is made by spraying tiny droplets of archival ink onto fine art papers and canvas. The precision of this process produces much truer prints and greater life spans than any other method.
Gicleé printing has provided me with the highest quality reproductions of my art, while allowing me full control of the creative process. All flat prints have a white border around picture. Print sizes include this border. Matted print sizes are for outside of mat.
