An Interview with Ms. Weaver

Ms. Weaver has been our principal for quite some time now, 4 years to be exact, so I had an interview with her one day and here are some of the things she said...

Q:    Ms. Weaver, do you enjoy working in this school so far?

A:   Yes, I love having grades 6-12 and this mix of high school students.  I think that the students here are close and work together. We have many teachers who are creative and like to try new things. This keeps learning exciting.

Q:    What do you like to do in your spare time?

A:    I love to read. I read magazines, novels, and inspirational books.  I also enjoy shopping and collecting.. My newest collection is mermaids.

Q:    What are your plans for the future of Cape Hatteras School?

A:    I am really looking forward to the renovations that will take place when the elementary school is moved.  These building changes will give us a chance to spread out and have room for the many curricular activities inside our school.  I'm also looking forward for the student achievement level to rise and to attract new teachers that will stay here on Cape Hatteras.
