Wilbur and Orville Wright

Early Years

On April, 16 1867 Wilbur Wright was born in Millville, Indiana to a family of three. Orville was born 4 years later in 1871 with his sister Katherine, after they move to Dayton. Their father was the editor of the church newspaper. His dad got them a toy helicopter after the moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa on his church travels. They moved their because their fathor was elected to be bishop. Wilbur did exceedingly well in school, which he would have graduated from if they didn't move in his senior year and his mom die. Orville was the basic student, average if you will. They say he was very mischievous. He quit school when he started the Wright Printing Company.
