Artists have been painting flowers for centuries. Several of our gallery painters, in addition to award-winning OBX watercolorist Peggy Saporito are coming together in this opening exhibit, simply titled 'The Beauty of Flowers'. May 17 - June 28, 2013 Glass, Water and Sand make for an intriguing interplay. This season, we are pairing some of the best American Art Glass with some of the most striking Seascapes around. Your senses will love it! July 1 - August 10, 2013 After a hiatus of almost three years from the gallery, Virginia painter Janice Gay Maker is back with a solo exhibit of her latest work. Her deep sense of responsibility to nature and the environment are visible in every one of her sensuous oil paintings. August 15 - September 30, 2013 Well known OBX photographer Ray Matthews teams up with William Lease in a two-person show, titled 'Photographic Images - on and off the Outer Banks'. The contrast between these two artists working from behind the lens is fascinating. |
